Then the tenant won't pay rent and he refuses to leave. I am trying to get him evicted. He is taking me to court for pain and suffering (I have only owned the house for 4 months, yet he has lived there for several years) and he is also asking to set up rent escrow. I am trying to sell this property as soon as possible. I am new to real estate, I wish that I had been reading your web page more often.
