Video-Tip: When You’re Down, Keep Working!

I’ve had better weeks, but I’ve certainly had worse. This post and video was prompted as a result of a text message I received from my new buddy, Mike Henninger. Like me, Mike had a rough week. We commiserated a bit, delighted in each others’ trials, and decided to get back to work.

This can be a lonely business, folks. I think all entrepreneurs feel like its them against the world, but there’s something about real estate investing that really makes you feel like you’re on a never ending roller-coaster. Those of us who ride the coaster well will be the most successful —- but, if you let the coaster ride you, you’ll never make it in this business.

Work through the peaks and the valleys. Don’t allow yourself to get too high nor too low. Master your roller-coaster and you will succeed as a real estate investor.

Craig thanks so much for the video's they keep me motivated and right now I needed to see this one. Sometime family can be your worst critics and recently I had to get back out there and get a 9-5 and still work on my RE dreams....BUT FAILURE IS JUST NOT AN OPTION so im going to keep pressing on. Love the rehabs and the video's keep them coming Craig...and continued much success...
  • Great Video Craig! Running your business can definitely be frustrating at times but success generally comes to those who have the endurance to press forward regardless of their setbacks.
  • Khary - First, thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Keep it up.

You are so right. Those of us who make sacrifices and take our lumps, all while persevering, are the one's who will ultimately reap the rewards.

Damn Craig. I am digging these videos in a major way. Though its been a great year growth wise, sometimes I really just hit the floor. Past couple days have sucked the big one but only because I let it ride me. Nobody else to blame.

Since I refuse to give up--ever--its just a temporary low. PRESS ON!
  • J-Bone!!!!! Bro - no one understands the power of focus more than you. I want to see you make your RE goals and blow them away. I want to see you REALLY break through this year. Put your head down, let nothing get in your way - AND TRUDGE THROUGH THE SLUDGE!!!

Sorry to hear about your buyer. I tried finding the after pix/video of Cayer. Did you post any? Good Luck.
  • Mike. Thanks for the comments. They really make my day. For Cayer, look under Categories/Rehab Stories?1070 Cayer. You should find a before and after video on the final (most recent post).
